Seagate launches SSD Second Generation Hybrid

Momentus XT seems to be a breakthrough Solid State Drive (SSD) for Seagate's latest. Seven laptop manufacturers also claim to be ready to send their latest laptops with Momentus XT include in it.

The main supporter Momentus XT drive is Seagate's technology and the FAST Adaptive Memory Factor.

Adaptive Memory technology would work by identifying patterns of data usage and transfer of information most often taken to the Solid State Memory.

Meanwhile, the technology will combine the power of FAST Factor SSD and hard disk drives to access applications and boot-up faster and higher speed of the system as a whole.

Momentus XT carries the drive speed of nearly 70 percent faster than previous versions of the Momentus drive and three times faster than a traditional hard disk drives, also provides a storage capacity of 750 GB.

Momentus XT Series ATA hard drives have 6Gb/detik interface and 8 gigabytes of Single Level Cell NAND flash dual interface and read-write speed NAND from previous generations.
